In 2013 I was incredibly fortunate to be able to interview S.P. Miskowski. The interview focused on the author’s Skillute Cycle, which began in 2011 with the publication of Knock Knock, followed by Delphine Dodd in 2012 and Astoria in 2013. The Cycle was completed in 2014 with the publication of In the Light. Other topics discussed in part one include the horror genre, women in horror, and the recent small press publishing renaissance, while part two features a discussion of US regionalism with a psychogeographic slant. The interview was conducted by e-mail and published in two parts on the University of Stirling’s Gothic Imagination blog, on 23 and 30 September 2013.
